PELVIC FLOOR

EXERCISES

The course is intended for women who wish to put in place a gymnastics routine

that will strengthen their overall muscular strength as well as their flexibility.

Particular attention is paid to the abdominal muscles (transverse abdomen in particular) and the pelvic floor muscles (perineum). The exercises are inspired by physiotherapy, yoga and Pilates techniques.

Young mothers can come with their babies.

Most of the time located in the lower part of the back, these pains can strongly disrupt a person's daily life, for several days or several weeks even! The prevention of back pain is above all done through physical activity: strengthening the back muscles and the abdominal belt, making the body more flexible and becoming aware of basic movements are the objectives of this course. PILATES is a combination of Eastern and Western muscle strengthening techniques and enables you to practise the following 8 principles:

breathing, alignment, centering, concentration, coordination, fluidity, relaxation and endurance.

In a class for two (duo) or in a group (5 people), on the floor or with objects, PILATES corrects your posture, strengthens and stretches you.
